What kind of setup to get?

I have 6 LCD monitors and I want all of them to be able to have a separte instance of some kind of TV/movie viewing prorgram. I want my users to all have a remote and I want them to think that they are running their own instance of some tv/movie viewing program.

My space is kinda limited but i can spend as much money as its gonna take. I would like to be able to run all of these on a single computer. Is there anyway to do such a thing?

Thanks

Re: What kind of setup to get?

Wow, that's a lot to get my head around. What really fasinates though is trying to imagine why?

I imagine six people in a small room with head phones watching 6 different LCD's.

That's six remotes working on six different applications which would seem to be the biggest problem. I think people are going to need more info.

Re: What kind of setup to get?

You really need 6 computers. You cant run more than one copy of BTV on the same computer. If having 1 computer is a must you might be able to do it if you use MS Virtual PC. You could then run BTV on 5 virtual pc's and 1 on the main machine. You will need 6 licenses of BTV (1 BTV and 5 link) and 6 licences for your OS. This would need to be a powerful machine with lots of memory. The only thing that I am unsure of would be how to get 6 video cards in the machine so you could have each virtual machine using a different video card.

I have not tried this, and I am unsure if it will work, but it's just an idea you might want to try to explore.
