I have a P4 2.53Ghz Northwood core.

If you guys are looking for a nice quiet processor heatsink I'd suggest this. The temperatures were noticeably higher with the thermal grease that came in the package (113 on idle). I bought some Ceramique today and decided it was worth the $5 for it.

These are my idle temps:


The thing is freaking silent as can be too; those temps are on silent mode with the fan at 1400rpm. You can turn it up to 2600 if you want to sacrifice some noise, personally, I prefer my 18dBA.

And the all copper version. It's only a $9 difference between the two. I went with the AlCu because of weight (438g compared to 700 something on the copper).

Just wanted to post as I've been very satisfied with it so that you guys could take a look if you wanted better CPU temps and no noise.
