Doesn't Record for full hour?
Has anyone figured out how to correct the issue where a scheduled recording doesn't record for the full time it was scheduled for? I've got a PIII/800 with 256MB RAM / 40 GB / WinXP. No all the shows that I scedule for an hour (or longer) only end up with ~35 minutes. If I look at the log it seems as if the software thought it was recording for the full hour, but the video file is always a fraction of the total time I intended.
--updated aditional information:-- Im using SS 2.0, pad rec. set to "1", and am on a clean install. [This message has been edited by emadow (edited 02-02-2002).] |

i have the same problem on my 433MHZ Celeron win2k, 80GB hardisk machine.
i'm running hauppague the win/tv FM PCI board. my settings are hauppague VFW Cable/DSL, and i'm running version 2.0 of SnapStream software. my maximum show space is 30GB, and existing shows take up 4 GB, so i'm not running out of room. pad recordings is set for 2 minutes. other than that, it works great.
