Gigalan and Wireless Networking

Is it possible to have a such a setup with the current hardware available in the market? I want to be able to stream HDTV over the gigalan and stream SDTV wirelessly to my laptops.

Has anyone done such a setup and is it really difficult to do or is there a wireless router out there that has wired gigalan?

Shouldn't be a problem. Just connect your Internet source (DSL, cable modem) to your wireless router. Then connect the router and all other PC's you want to hardwire into the gigabit switch and off you go.

When you are stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere, gigalan is your only connection to the outside world.
