version 2.0 full interface

hi, i just installed version 2.0 full. no major issues. however, i did read in the release notes that watch live stream is now on port 8080 not 8130. on my home network i need 8080 for soemthing else, and i can't find the mentioned .ini file for specifying what port i want live streaming to be on. can you adise?

other notes:

video recording is fine, as it was on version 1.5. here are some interface anomalies.

1. i don't have a watch password set, only a password on setting configuration and recording. however, when i first get to my site, i don't see a list of shows i can watch (after clicking the "Watch" link), until i click on record, enter my password, then reclick on watch.
2. the interface in v. 1.5 allowed multiple deletions. is that still possible? that was very handy.
3. by default there's a menu on the left, and the right frame has the 4 large icons for watch, record, etc. you should just put the playlist shows that can be watched right there. the big icons are silly.
4. if you have multiple stores, when you delete a show in a store that is not the left most store in the tab array or stores, you are brought back to the left most tab, then have to select the store you were working on. that's a bummer.

my system is an hp brio, 466 processor, 256 mb ram, 80gb disk. happauge wintvpfm card.

like i said, recording is fine.

thanks in advance.

rgalanti,

You can indeed change the port. If you open your ssd.ini file (located in C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\pvs (in win2000 and XP) or C:\Windows\all users\application data\snapstream\pvs (in 98/ME)) look for the Recording Tab and look for the following entry:

BroadcastPort=8080

You should be able to change your port number here.

1) Yes, this behavior is by design. We realize this is not the best way to handle it, but you can only see the COMMON store when you log in remotely IF YOU HAVE A CONFIGURE PASSWORD SET. In other words, you must enter the configure password if SET to get access to all your stores.

2) No, this is not possible with this version and looks like we missed this feature while moving to the new interface. Will add it back in the next version.

3) Will pass it on to the developers and see what they think.

4) Yes, another small annoyance we didn't catch. Will fix this one next time as well.
