Post Firewalls

Is there or will there be a way to watch shows from remote, when both sides are behind firewalls, or even when only the PVS server is behind a firewall? Note that opening a port in the firewall is not always an option; sharing a connection on a LAN is an example of a firewall that can't be adjusted.

Considering the increasing number of households with multiple computers sharing a high-speed Internet connection, I think that this is an important question.

You'll have to open at least a few ports to the snapstream server. If you need some more information on the way firewalls (specifically the NAT version) work email me and I'll try to explain.

I'm aware of how firewalls work, and I'm also aware that sometimes (as I mentioned earlier), you don't have the option of opening a port, which is why I'm asking.

If someone knows how to configure Win XP's ICS, that would be nice to know...
