Sooooo... lets review the SS homepages over the past 2-3 yrs: first it was the 3 babes watching TV. Daddy like. Then it was the dude who looked like he was flying away... or he was trying to fly away by thinking of snapstream products? sort of OK but the babes were better. ... now its the ARM: OMG is that a Mr Universe? c'mon, if theres a depiction of stability /strength /human endurance (whatever the reason for the muscle flexed arm) IT IS NOT THAT IMAGE. Besides, Arm and Hammer already took it and trademarked it. And if that really is a mr strongman arm - why not use some mega pumped weightlifter dude's arm like Hans and Franz?

BUT WAIT: Hey web designer - Why the heck use a man arm in the first place? Appeals to teenage boys? the audience here is mainly geeks of varying degrees, so why the heck do we want to look at that?

I / WE'D MUCH RATHER HAVE HOTTIES THAN SOME 2nd PLACE MR UNIVERSE DUDE. My girlfriend came up with this idea - not me. She was like "omg what is that website" and I'm all - "its the TV guide for the computer website": then she's all "that's a little gay" ... which I agreed. and am now writing to you all so that you may become aware of perception - just our 2c. Put up some honeys' - and dont cave in to some bible thumping moral BS - I wanna see babes, hooters and sweet buttcheeks!! Go to some surfing websites and you'll see what I mean. I'm not implying bad taste or anything... jeez.

P.S. MCE2006 East Fork DRM machines will present y'all w/ an opportunity I'm hopeful you can understand and exploit. BTV still needs to be easier to use for all the wife/girlfriends out there putting up w/ this. Kill feature dev in favor of ease-of-use dev and maybe you'll gain some general public marketshare. Personally, I didn’t think the arm was a big deal. Obviously females are generally accepted to be more pleasing to the eye (I know they are to my eye ;-) ) but I thought the ‘strength’ photo was fine for a change of pace.

Ok, I say if you really want to show strength and good eye appeal, I suggest a sexy female gymnast, perhaps on the balance bars or the strength horse or whatever the hell those things are called. Someone strong but not overly muscular, with all those proper feminine attributes. Perhaps with just enough perspiration to make her skin glisten in the light, caught in mid mount or dismount... legs firm with tension as she...

I personally don't want to look at titties everytime I visit the snapstream homepage......not that I come here very often since dumping Beyond TV anyway......but having to look at boobs would not make me want to come back again.

and exactly how does one 'dump' BTV? and for what? mce costs 2-3X more for a fair and somewhat equal comparison. and of couse there's that other one called sage... which costs a bit more as well last I checked. neither alternative provides the girth of options and tweakness.

but that doesnt even matter/ what matters is every review of any new MPEG tuner board now includes a mention of BTV 3.x ~!!!! BECAUSE IT IS THE BENCHMARK.

The arm is OK. I'd like to see technology rather than the babes or the arm. If you are gonna stick with the arm, make it out of steel to show strength.
