Interested in Buying

Hey,
I got a tuner from tigerdirect a few weeks ago... about 1.5 months.

It is a sabrent card. It has a s/w encoder, and so far works great on the trial.

I think that the software is a bit expensive for that, but I really must know... why choose this over an alternative like SageTV?

I like this so much because of the snapstream.net, but Sage TV has XMLTV, and I am assuming they have a similar feature.

I am trying to setup a whole home of multimedia. I am thinking about getting another tuner, too. One for recording, and one for live TV.

Right now I am downstaris on my laptop while my desktop upstairs is recording my shows, like Alias and South Park.


IF ANYTHING: I wish there was support for FM radio... I enjoy my music, and I am really pissed that thre is no support for it.

We do offer support for XMLTV -- and other 3rd party guides

as far as your last request... it might be in the cards for a future release.

What else can I say to steer you our way?
