Can I watch TV without Recording?
I have a ATI AIW Radeon 32mb AGP. The ATI TV viewer doesn't always work (crashes system occasionally) and I don't care too much for ATI Software. Most functions are covered in XP Media-Player, including DVD fuctions, I just can't watch TV without the ATI Software. In Win98se I had WebTV which worked well enough.
With this product v2.0 can I watch/surf the channels, without making a recording? A recording/playback option is nice if desired, but I don't regularly record and it is not an option that I would purchase, due to lack of use. I'm just thinking that, if the software can record/convert it, can I view it without recording it first? In the specs all I could find were recording/playback features. Are there viewer-only products available, certified for use with XP? Thanks for any advice/info.
