Recording Multiple Shows

Well Ive searched and found a little info one doing this... Well there are some nights where I want to record 1 show and there are some that I want to record 2 or 3 shows at the same time... I was reading about the multi tuner but Im new at this and dont quite understand it... Can someone break it down and help me out with this... I know I can record 2 shows at the same time with the newest version of SnapStream, but what if I want to record 3 or 4 at the same time??? PLEASE HELP!!!

Then you would need 3-4 tuners. I do it all the time

You need to have a physical Tuner for each show you wish to record at the same time, in your example above you would need 4 Tuners to accomplish this. In addition to the 4 Tuners you would need BeyondTV which allows 2 Tuners and then you would have to buy 2 more Tuner Licenses. You can add as Many Tuners as your system can handle, SnapStream has a system that has I think 12 Tuners (6-PVR500's) . The PVR500's have 2 Tuners built into one card.

Which cards have 2 tuners built in... If I get 2 of those how many licenses will I need?

the Hauppauge PVR 500's have two tuners per card, so using these one card would be supported out the box, you would have to buy tner licences for the tuners on the other card.
