Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
I'm almost ALWAYS scheduled 2 full weeks (the max BTV supports) in advance.

Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
It depends. For TV shows, I try to set up recurring (all new, all, etc) so that I don't have to remember to do it over and over again. For movies, I tend to use At A Glance in SS.net to find new movies to record and those are set up current day or next. I also have favorites set up and usually use the Record in the next 30 days when I get the email notifications.

Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
I set everything up as far in advance as possible. Most of my recordings are set up as recurring events (all new etc..) If I could get a month worth of guide data, I'd schedule a month in advance. Of course I travel for work, so most weeks I'm only home on the weekends and I'll schedule everything then.

Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
I have my favourite shows setup as far in advance as possible and I examine "upcoming recordings" just to make sure. Ergo, I leave my computer on 24/7.

Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
I really only look forward a few days. I often schedule same day from the office. Other times I'll browse the guide while watching TV (using the overlay). I can't go that far in the future this way or it gets tedious.

Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
I schedule recordings 2 weeks in advance (if I remember, too). I wish there was a way to setup "future" recordings even when the guide data isn't available. This would be useful when you hear about a new program for the upcoming season that you want to check out, but it's still 3 months til the season begins. At least, you could "set it & forget it" -- until those recordings started showing, that is. For instance, I used to have a recurring recording for '24' -- but lost it when I uninstalled/reinstalled BTV. So now, I can't set up my new recurring recording until the new season premiers, but if I had saved my old recurring recording, I would be set.

Re: How far in advance do you schedule programs in BTV?
As far in advance as I can, as it seems better for conflict handling. Not sure if it's trully the case.
I try and check the program guide regularly on my favorite channels to add new stuff, even though my regular list of setup recording is plentiful emnough to keep me entertained. Eric
