Recordings failing to start after Remote Desktop session

It seems my scheduled recordings don't work after I have had a Remote Desktop session to the PC. When the system is sitting at the Windows XP login screen, which comes up during and after someone has performed a Remote desktop session, I get the failed recording errors.

Is there a setting or fix to handle this?

Thanks...

It sounds like you are logging off when you exit Remote desktop, this will close all applications including BTV.

I use VNC as it seems to work better with BTV albeit a little slower.

If you are using an ATI All in Wonder you may want to avoid Remote Desktop. I think I remember reading on the forum that there can be some issues with these cards due to their drivers. You might want to check this out.
As mickwall suggested VNC works well over a local LAN.

Re: Recordings failing to start after Remote Desktop session

Thanks for the info.

The logging out answer might be the right one now that you mention it.

I stopped using VNC because I had display issues with it for some strange reason. I think it may have been related to the VPN tunnel I had VNC running inside of causing delays.
