These will typically work fine as long as you use the correct driver. I have one of each and have been using them both reliably since the beginning of the 3.5 beta testing. The driver I am using can be found here: http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...&threadid=5695

Re: swap pvr250 encoder 15 for encoder 16

thanks,

I'll give that a try.

Can you tell me what happens when you use the drivers recommended by snapstream.

When i use these, i can get the system to record two programs when started manually or record one and watch live tv on another channel. However, anytime i use the scheduler, the system locks up.

I assumed it was the encoder issue since i new they were different.

thanks again

I tried the drivers on the ss web page, but they did not work for my cards. I have a 350 and 2 250s. The 350 is almost 2 years old, one 250 is about one year old and the other is brand spanken new. I am sure that they are all different (15 vs 16). I am using the latest drivers from Hauppauge (18A) and they all work fine together.
