advice re: video card/tv tuner
I am looking at setting up my computer with BTV 3.5 mainly to be able
to pause live tv and maybe record the occassional show. I will also still use my rig for playing games. So my question is what video card/tv tuner would the knowledgeable members of this forum recommend to output live tv to my 27" Toshiba yet still have the power to play some of todays more demanding games? I have read through many of the posts on this forum but find it all a bit overwhelming as I am a noobie when it comes to this. Here is my current setup: MSI K8T NEO mainboard AMD 64 3000+ 512 mb DDR 300 Onboard sound 40gb seagate 7200 rpm 80gb seagate 7200 rpm LG 4048B DVD-RW ATI Radeon 7200LE (no tv out, plan to replace) Windows XP Pro SP2 Thanks PS I would like to keep total cost at around $300.
