General Motors to offer PVR for the car
Anybody see this? : http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1645381,00.asp
PVR system for the car that has a removeable HDD module and then you use a USB hookup to plug it into an HTPC (hint BTV) and record your shows onto it that can be watched in the car.
Boy, nowdays you can really start to see all these new technologies from different fields come bridging together. I think that's great! Pretty soon it'll have bluetooth or 802.11n to connect so you wont even have to take out the HDD. It'll just download your shows from your HTPC while parked in the driveway, or if it had WAN then anywhere, not just from your driveway. Simply amazing
