2 new products from hauppauge

i've seen a little discussion about the hauppauge pvr 150 and 500, but it looks like we are getting close to being able to purchase these things.

the 150 says that it can be used with snapstream. the 500 makes no such claim. i hope that it will soon. 2 tuners in one card would be excellent. anybody have any updates since SHS's original posts?

Will be interesting to see how much the 150 will cost. Just bought the AverMedia M150, a very similar card, from newegg for $57. I very much doubt that Hauppauge is going to match that..

What is more interesting is they appear to have discontinued the PVR250. Notice its no longer listed on the tabs on the far left?

I think SHS has already indicated the PVR500 works fine with Snapstream. I suspect it sees it as two seperate tuners.

if shs has it working, it is strange that hauppauge didn't include it on that page as they did for the 150. i hope you are right though!

maybe they didn't want to announce it works as a multi tuner device since ss hasn't yet officially released code to that can use it.
