are they no longer supported here? I do not get an option to add one.

on my User CP under Settings & Options there is an option for "Edit Avatar." but i don't know about adding one.

I went to add my avatar tonight, and the only option was 'do not use an avatar', which had a checked radio button, which I could not uncheck. I wonder what gives??

I believe the avatars carried over from the old system.

Eitherway did you guys notice the new smiliies?

I mean how else can you say for a stable beta. Or ask a when it blows up. And occasionally you just feel like and while you are on a ! Then again sometimes your in the mood.

That still doesn't answer the question.... Are avatars not allowed if they weren't 'grandfathered' in?

I was able to set my avatar after the latest upgrade, but then I'm an admin... I'll check into this.

The option wasn't available for non-moderators and non-admins.

OK, so if this works...
I go to the control panel-Edit Avatar- upload or link to my image file
go to my control panel-signature and, next to the avatar image, click on Insert Signature Picture which then puts the [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] code at the front of the SIG file.

(or at least, that's what I just did...)
