3D Acceleration mode not possible with my setup...could it be my video card?
My box is outlined in my signature. I can use overlay mode just fine, but if I attempt to use 3D Accelerated mode, BTV attempts to connect to my specified codec, but then defaults to the proprietary codec. It is very jerky and pegs CPU usage at 100 percent before it finally defaults. I can live with Overlay Mode, but it's kind of dark. My video card is an Nvidia Quadro NVS 64meg card, which is supposed to be a professional model. I don't know much about it, as I swapped my 8500DV for it. I like it because it doesn't have a fan...just one big ol' heatsink. It does a nice job of hardware de-interlacing with Sonic and Cyberlink; CPU usage is 15-22%. Do you suppose my video adapter is to blame?
TIA
CF
