Wintv USB2 + BTV kit - what else do I need?
I downloaded the trial of BTV and am using it to watch tivo ripped and divx movies in my bedroom. I am very impressed with the product and will be buying it online in the next couple of days. My question is this:
I have a Shuttle SB75G2 (3.2/1gb/160gb/GF4600ti/slot cooler) and do not have room for a pci tuner. I have read good reviews on the USB2 product and have decided that would be great to have with my configuration. I would like to a remote control to navigate the BTV screen. Will the Wintv-USB2 remote do this or do I need a firefly? TIA, Robert (BTW 1600SW users - use the 3d rending instead of overlay mode to get rid of those nasty interlace lines associated with the SGI Multi Link Adapter full screen video) |

Re: Wintv USB2 + BTV kit - what else do I need?
Hey rmh... I am a new 1600SW /w multi-link user, and while I only run SS on my HTPC computer so far, I have noticed "those nasty interlace lines" when watching DiVX movies on my 1600SW in the office. I just did a google search and this is all that came up. I was not aware of this problem before (and I did much research before buying the monitor). Is there a workaround for full screen DiVX movies? This is a real PITA.
