DCT2000 + Shaw + Snapstream
I live in Fort McMurray Alberta and Shaw in my cable provider.
This afternoon I attempted to hook up my Motorola DCT2000 cable box to my computer and get Snapstream (or any other program) to change channels. I also tried this program: http://discuss2.snapstream.com/vb/at...achmentid=1726 ... but it said that my DCT2000 was not responding. My question to those who have Shaw as their cable provider: have you been able to get this to work? Does Shaw disable to the serial port?

Re: DCT2000 + Shaw + Snapstream
I had it all working fine and dandy until I called to activate my digital service. When they activated my service, the reprogramming seems to have disabled the data port. I am trying to decide if its worth the effort of complaining to them.
