I only feel confortable shopping in stores.

I love shopping at CompUSA. NOT!
Selection is limited.
The kids know very little about what they're selling.
Almost everything I want is more expensive than online. Even AFTER the annoying "mail in rebate" which takes weeks to get back to me, and every other time I have to check status using some "1-800- your call is important to us, so let us ignore you for the next 20 minutes".
Then, despite my explicit request of not using my snail mail address for junk mail, I invariably get some, and have to call another "1-800 we don't care" to be taken off the mailing list.
OR I can go to newegg.com, a highly reputed online reseller. Buy for much cheaper, often get free shipping, pay no taxes, and usually within 2 days the package gets delivered to my door.
As for credit card security: Online secure transaction OR hand my details over to minimum wage kid. Why would the shop be safer? The kid can just copy all my details, and even has a copy of my signature.
Computer shops are for "emergencies" or small stuff only in my book.
