Multiple Tuner Question - Hauppage PVR Cards

I have been told before that the PVR-250 cards have a brother (15) and the sister chip (16) and that they don't play nice together. I currently have the card without the heatsink (not sure if it is the 15 or th 16).

I'm interested in purchasing another PVR-250 (or possibly a 350) if I can get them to work together. My thought is to purchase a PVR-250 MCE, but I wanted to find out if they would work together first. Anyone had luck with a standard PVR-250 and a PVR-250MCE? or the PVR-250 and a PVR-350?

Not yet. No drivers that work with a 15 and a 16 are out yet. And the beta ones I have tried don't work well either.

Damn... Well, does the MCE version work with the retail box PVR-250 without the heatsink? (without the heatsink = 15, correct?)

You can use the PVRUSB if all else fails.
Thats what I shall be getting. (I have no choice as I have a shuttle box and my one PCI slot is already full with a PVR250)

Re: Multiple Tuner Question - Hauppage PVR Cards

I'm only really interested in internal devices, I have too many external misc boxes laying around. Anymore and my wife will flip! :-P

Has anyone tried the AVerMedia PCI TV Tuner, Video Capture Card, Model "AVerTV PVR M150" -OEM? Any one know if it will work wit the PVR 250 (16)?
