Can I record scrambled channels via cable box?

I was wondering if there's any way to record scrambled channels which I use my cable box to receive. Does anyone know if it's possible through Snapstream or through the built-in-software on my All-In-Wonder card? (Some of these aren't "premium" movie channels per se, they are channels such as the Game Show Network that my cable company scrambles without a cable box.) I figured I could pass the signal through my cable box, but then how would I be able to switch channels via the computer? Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas.

There aren't any good solutions at this point. The cable box technology that allows those channels to be decoded isn't replicated in any tuner cards that I'm aware of. Until a tuner card can perform the decoding, the only alternative is to have the signal pass through the cable box to the TV tuner card in your PC.

I've seen mention of Serial Port devices that can be used to send commands to change channels on satellite receivers. But my impression (perhaps incorrect) is that the technology isn't very mature. And, I don't know whether the same concept could be applied to cable boxes or not.

The only way I've found to do this is setting the software to record only on channel 3, and then manually changing channels whenever you need to. It works ok until you have to record two shows on two different channels and you're not there to change it.
