Question RG6 versus S-Video

Greetings,

I have about a 35 ft. RG6 or S-Video cable run to make in order to connect to my PC. Which cable method would be best to make this run? Thanks.

Regards

Re: RG6 versus S-Video

Coaxial cable was designed for long runs as opposed to component-type cables/signals, but you should be okay with a 35 ft. S-video run.

I use a 30 ft. run occasionally with no problems and I have read of longer runs as well. I think 50 ft. is where you may start to run into signal integrity issues.
