Prevent Channel Changing ?

Hi,
I don't think this is possible but I was wondering if there is a way ( other than hiding the remote ) of not allowing the channel on Directv to be changed ( or at least some sort of message ) when I am recording ?

Thanks
Jason

If I understand you well and you mean at the satellite receiver, than I can't see how you could do without also blocking BTV changing channel.
Unless you use a serial cable from BTV and mask the IR receiver on the sat box with masking tape?

I am not sure why you would want to use the receiver's remote ever since BTV should always control it to avoid getting out of synch. You may have your own reasons I guess,..

Usually if we are just watching TV we will watch it directly from the Satellite as opposed to using the Live TV from Snapstream. The reason for this is that the picture is better when watching it like this and because you get some of the guide features in Directv that you don't have with the Snapstream guide.
