Will 3.5 allow the mixing of Hauppauge 250&350 cards
I did not realize at the time I purchased a 350 that it would do me no good in BTV compared to the 250. I have a spare PC that I would like to put a 250 in to save a little money. When 3.5 comes out I would like to place these in the same box. Will I be able to mix and match a 250 & 350 or should I pay the extra $50 for the 350 so that it will match?

If the 250 uses the same chip-set as the 350 then it should work. However, most or all retail 250's you buy these days will be using the 16 version chip-set and the 350's contain the 15 version. Hauppauge drivers currently do not work with mixed chip-set versions.
