SilverStone has 4 NEW HTPC cases!

Hey guys SilverStone has 4 new HTPC cases I found just playing around...not much info is available yet, so anyone with details please feel in.

3 are totally new, and 1 is the LC03 with a buildin VFD.

These cases will likely cost between $100 and $150

They have an ETA of April but the guy that I heard that the date is not 100% definite yet.

Well, I love my LC03 so far. wish I had known a month ago, and I would have waited for the LC03 with the builtin VFD. That is one thing I would like to play around with.

Is that a CD drawer on the LC06? I like the looks of that unit, but it sure doesn't appear to offer any drive bay openings (like for my 3.5" floppy/7-in-1 media reader combo).

I am pretty much sold if the LC04 takes a full powersupply, although I would have perfered it to have 2 exposed usbs on the front.

I like the LC06 as well but I don't know why they want to include the audio plugs in the front, makes no sense to me considering its meant as a HTPC.

It would be nice if one or both of these models had a VFD as well, but you can't have everything.

I suspect I will end up purchasing one of these cases mainly because they look externally good and will likely be much more affordable given Silverstones past pricelist then other manufactures.

The question now is whether or not to purchase a $20 temporary case to house the equipment, or wait all-together. This is the much more harder decision to make. As once I buy the equipment it means no turning back.

Wow $20 for a case.... Big spender you are!
That $20 more than I spent on my case! I need to keep gas money now that I bougth a PVR 250

Audio ports in the front: For me that's where they should be so I can plug headphones in. Tastes may vary.

The SST-LC04 looks perfect to me, since in comes in black.
These two places said they should be in stock this week, but i have not contacted then to confirm.

Looks to be about $130 - $140

Very cool, love to see new cases coming out, as there are so few in that price range currently. I like the cup holders in that LC05 j/k Can't wait to take a look at a few of the internal breakdowns and pictures of them, see their specs etc.
