HTPC News guide on building an HTPC for under $1000
Pretty good read on HTPC News about building an HTPC for under $1000. I think they are cheating a little, as they don't include the price of an OS or the price of ANY PVR software (like BTV or SageTV) in the costs (and they only put an 80GB drive in there...yeah...that will last for all of 5 days), but the overall guide is still a good consolodation of a lot of the better software and hardware out there to use.
Regards, -Jeff
