DARPA Robot Race this weekend

I know this is somewhat off topic but here is an article about the race this weekend. At the end they list a site that shows the following info

Satellite Feeds

On Saturday, March 13, DARPA will provide same-day coverage via satellite of the Grand Challenge start and highlights at the following times:

Live coverage of the start: 6:30 - 8:30 Pacific/9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Eastern
Video news release: 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Pacific/2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Eastern

Coordinates for both feeds:
Satellite: AMC 9, Ku, Transponder 03
Space is: 36 MHz
Downlink Frequency: 11760.000
Downlink Polarity: Vertical

the article is here:
http://www.darpa.mil/grandchallenge/media_feeds.htm

Any chance that a BeyondTV Sat user could record it?

Well, if it's tuned into your receiver, you could easily manually define that channel and set up a manual recording.

me? I don't have a sat receiver... Thus the request. If I did, I would be all over it.

Not very exciting race, huh?
All robots went down... The farthest they went was less than 10 miles (over a 150 to 210 miles race)...

Even though I hate Schumi, I rather keep watching F1...

Talking

It's only trading if he had offered something in return, eh?

Hehe, I have nothing to offer in return as trading would be a no no. I hadn't heard the race results though. Is it true that they all fell in the first part?

Regardless of the quibbling over the meaning of the word trade, the spirit of this thread is in violation of the request to not trade shows.

Not passing judgment or even really caring about the issue. Just noting with amusement the games being played with words.

LOL, yeah. The first time I read the title, I thought too many people had been asking SS to attend trade shows!

Big Grin: I first thought it was something about trade shows too. But I was certain that it was only my twisted mind that could make such a mistake.

(I think that I just accused V_D_O of having a twisted mind.) Oh well...
