need suggestion to watch around the house

Hi
I am looking for a way to watch my tv server upstairts -i had an old x10 "video sender" but that only sends composite, and my pc graphics card outputs svideo only. I also want it to be able to send ir signals from upstairs to downstairs.

Does anyone have any recomendations? I was using a laptop wirelessly connected upstairs but my scan converter seems to have burned out.

You can by a svideo to composite convertor from radio shack they only cost a couple of dollars and while your there also buy a audio convertor wire. As for the IR signals it is best to use a RF remote such as the ATI Remote Wonder or the FireFly remote.

Coincedentally I had gone out and bought the $99 sender from radio shack today and also an svideo to rca convertor ($21)

The interference from both my wireless router and also my vtech cordless phones make the picture unwatchable.

I guess i will have to take them back.
