divx encoding

Hey all,

The new build seems to have fixed some of my divx encoding problems. I can now atleast encode newly recorded shows and have them come out great. Here's my new problem tho, I have a ton of old shows made months ago that I want to encode to divx due to smaller file sizes. Now the encode seems to work fine, it finishes and what not, but here's the odd part when you goto play the resulting old show divx it immediately closes BTV or any other divx playing software with an error in DivXdec.ax. I've tried playing back the resulting file on several different computer's/os's and same result. I'm thinking there might be something wrong with the older mpegs.

So anyways I can work around this. I've been tinkering with Dr. Divx and I can successfully encode the old shows with that program, but i've been tinkering for well over a month and haven't been able to quite get the quality in Dr. Divx right. So I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on a way to get my old show's to encode in BTV or If anyone uses Dr. Divx and would be willing to help me get better quality out of it or has maybe made a custom profile and could send me that I can build off of.
