Not sure if anyone has noticed, but the http://mobile.snapstream.net web page is far from being complete.

Missing catagories:
"At a Glance" only contains:
----------
Movies
News Programs
Sports

No TV Listings... a simple "What's on Now" would be sufficient..

There didn't appear to be a category on reporting this kind of issue on the main support section of snapstream website.

A bit of history...

The mobile site was mostly written by Lam and myself some months ago and mostly as a proof of concept that it would be relatively easy for us to deploy something like that. The gee-whiz factor came in higher than expected to some of the users who we told about it on the forums and it ended up going into production.

That said, a whole lot of development effort hasn't been put back into it since then, priorities lie elsewhere. The At a glance is missing categories because the additional "at a glance" filters added to snapstream.net were added after the initial launch of Mobile.

As to the lack of a guide, that's partially my fault..I tried some time back when I still had some spare time, but try as I might, I simply couldn't come up w/ a usable guide that would work well on some of the form factors we were testing with. I.e. my satellite lineup of 400+ channels on then fancy new web enabled phone that could only display 6 lines of text at a time.

It wouldn't be trivial, but I'm sure a usable guide could be made for some of the fancier form facotrs out these days (Pocket PCs, linux driven pdas/phones, et al).....but I don't work there anymore. The man to bug is Lam on the forums...
