Changing TV cards - Uninstalling BTV Trial Version?
I am currently trialing BTV with a Pinnacle PCTV card. I will be changing this card to the Hauppauge PCR-250 as part of the BTV package deal.
My question is should I uninstall BTV trial version before installing the version I'll get with the PCR-250 card? If so, are there any tricks to this procedure? Is there a way to keep my current settings for BTV that I would want to carry over to the PCR-250 card? Thanks.

Technically all you need to do is enter the key and the version you have installed will become full. Just make sure you have the latest build 1217. You could uninstall if you want, but if its like most software companies the version you get on the CD may or may not be the latest build.

He would also need to rerun the setup wizard (its under Start->programs->Snapstream->[somewhere])
This will not reinstall the software but simple let you reconfigure it for the PVR250. -Brett
