Automatic grab

I have now setup all the xml stuff and everything works :-)

I have tried to search all the threads to find a solution for grabing the listings automatically, but all I find is that I have to set up something called "batch".

I am not a programmer so I wish to have a ABC guide on how to automate the grabbing.

Hope somebody can help with the auto grabbing

Hi

1. Open "Notepad"

2. Write the command you use to make the guide.

Ex:
xmltv tv_grab_dk --days 3 > dk.xml
cd..
cd PVS XML Import
ImportXMLTV.exe

3. Save the documet as Get_Guide.bat in the same folder as XMLTV.exe.

Now you can get the guide just by dobbelt click on the Get_Guide.bat.

Remark I have XMLTV places in "c:\program files\XMLTV" and ImportXMLTV in "c:\program files\PVS XML Import"

An extension to this is when you have a working .bat file you can get it to run automatically (i.e. over night) by using windows built in task scheduler (You can find it under Accesories - System tools in the start menu)
