Folders and such Organize =)

Does Snapstream display Folders in recorded items ?? If I have a folder in there called Seinfeld , will I be able to click on the folder from the recorded items menu and see whats' in that folder , I know it won't record to specific folders , but if I manually put them in does BTV know how to handle them and will it work??

Well actually it will record to specific folders. If you assign a video folder to a specific folder on your hardrive, say Seinfeld, you can set all recordings of Seinfeld to go to that folder. It does not display the folder information in the FSUI,, but does in teh Web Admin. I believe folder organization in the FSUI will be in the next release 3.5.

Folder organization is supposed to be coming soon in one of the upgrades I can't wait.

I have probably 200 different shows, all organized neatly on my HTPC at the moment, BTV records everything to seperate folders etc..

Just in the FSUI it lists every single show in one long list; HOWEVER, it is organized. IE if I have two folders one for say farscape and one for Tech TV's The screen savers, and say 10 shows in each, the FSUI will organize them with all shows from each folder together. For example It will have all the farscape shows listed together, followed by the Screen savers, then followed by whichever is the next folder etc..

To add shows to your list so to speak, just add the folder in the web admin area in the folders section. not at my HTPC so can't post exact methods.

The current line at SS is, if you purchased any version of 3.0, or 2.0 for that matter as I did, you get all 3.X upgrades for free. When they go to 4.X that will be another story.
