Idle...?

Lately, my BeyondTV has been ignoring it's scheduled recordings.

Normally when I would hover my mouse over the icon in the icon tray it would show me the next title of the show it was going to record. Now, most of the time it simply says "Idle...".

Does anyone have any idea what this means and wheter or not it is related to BeyondTV skipping scheduled recordings?

Go to the fullscreen, and select settings, and upcoming recordings, do you see anything there?

I never get it to say idle when I highlight it in the taskbar it usually tells me whats coming up next. Now in the web gui it will tell me its idle if its not recording anything at that current second.

If you hover over the tray icon and it says idle that means you have no recordings scheduled. If your upcoming recordings in either the web Admin or the FSUI show no upcoming you should try and update your guide data. Check your logs and see if it has been updating or if you are getting errors.

When I go to the upcoming recordings I see several recording there... anywhere from the next hour to the next few days.

It is, in fact, the tray icon that is reporting an "Idle..." status and not the title of the next recording as it usually does. Also, it seems that when it says "Idle..." if I open BeyondTV in windowed/fullscreen mode and then close it and then hover over the tray icon it will then show the next scheduled recording... It's like opening it triggered some sort of update.

Any other ideas...?

Post the log, I wonder if its having trouble reading/writing the xml files...
