Beyond and MyHTPC

I have a media server w/ a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250MCE and Beyond TV. I would like to just call up the recorded shows on MyHTPC on another computer in my house. I don't watch live tv through the computer because I have cable and most of my live tv watching is HDTV. Can someone point me in the right direction, please.

I'm not sure what you're asking here. If you have myHTPC setup in your environment then all you have to do is set the video directories up so that myHTPC knows where to find them. You can use the built in player to watch your shows. In essance you can use BTV for only recording purposes and never use the viewer.

I'm not sure if this is what you are trying to do or not but if you elaborate a little it would help us to help you.

OK thanks for the reply. I am unsure what viewer to use. I guess I was hoping to use the Beyond viewer, but I could use whatever is easiest and looks the best. I am quite familiar w/ Zoomplayer but not the myHTPC viewer. Right now I am using MCE for recorded TV only, but it is a pain to share across a network you have to connect to the system profile. It is not very easy to customize, hence I use myHTPC as the frontend. Mostly listen to music, watch movies from hard drive, and watch recorded tv from media server. So how do I configure which viewer to use?
