"manual" recordings setup?

Just wandering, when people talk about setting up recordings "manually" with multiple tuners in a machine. What software are you guys using to record the other shows with. And if with BeyondTV How? Done some searches and can't really find a definitive answer. Thanks in advance!!

Well I have not done this myself but I assume what they are talking about is setting up multiple video sources (using the web admin) and then creating manual recordings for the shows they want to record. When you create a manual recording, under the advanced options you can select what video source to use.

But again I have not messed with this personally, but I think that’s how its done.

There is no multiple tuner support, right now. You can however, have mulitple video sources. You can select which video source to use for a recording in the Web Admin as jkoon said. I currently do this to switch between recording via the PVR250 tuner and the PVR250 composite input. When I can record using the PVR tuner it allows me to watch another show using my cable box connected to another input on my TV.

Cool!! The reason I asked was because I am thinking about getting one of those Wintv pvr usb2's by hauppage. I already have a pvr-250 and love the functionality that it gives me.
