How to minimize/supress the initial startup window?
Have been making some great progress with my setup. Got myHTPC/Beyond TV/WinDVD all working with the Hauppauge (silver) remote. I followed a tip i found in the forums here to unify the menus in myHTPC and Beyond TV. I love the seamless look.
One minor annoyance I've been trying to figure out is how to supress or minimize to the taskbar the inital startup window when Beyond TV is loading for the first time (i.e. when you've just rebooted the machine). Couldn't find anything in search. TIA |

I am not at my system right now, so can't recall the exact steps to get to it; however, its there. Look under your web admin, possibly under advanced settings and there is a location that dictates what mode snapstream stats in when it initially starts up. There should be a choice for tasktray, icon only something like that.
Note: slightly off topic, but if you are using a remote or want an icon on the desktop to start snapstream directly into full screen mode or any other mode for that matter, then take a look at the command line switches. http://kb.snapstream.com/Kb.aspx?kbid=1122 I use these when I setup remotes and/or buttons on frontends like MyHTPC. Can be very helpful. Do a quick search for "command" or something similar to find some really creative methods to using them, and some nice walk throughs.
