Lightbulb Question about Cable/Sat Tuning

I got a quick question in regards to Cable Box and Satellite Box tuning. This is via an IR blaster or just using a regular remote control. Can you tune your device without using the "ENTER" key? If you pad your channels out using leading zeros, can you change to the desired channel every time?

If you choose NO can you give the model and manufacturer of the cable/sat box.

I don't pad my channels and have no problem. Have you experienced a problem?

Sorry about that, I meant I don't have to press enter! By the way, I have a DISH 301 and use MyBlaster IR.

Wetdagger,

What did you do to get BeyondTV to send signals out to your MyBlaster?? I have a similar config (DirectTV not Dish) and can't get it!!!! No matter what I try, BTV never sends the signal to my Sat. Reciever!

Thanks!

Edward
