Hauppauge Silver Remote Not Working

My Silver Hauppauge remote does not work on Beyond TV software any longer. It works fine when using WinTV 2000.
I did update my Hauppauge drivers, software etc. today and that is when it quit working on BYTV.
Any suggestions?

if you reinstalled the wintv ir remote software/drivers it will overwrite the ini file (irremote.ini) in the windows directory setting it back to factory defaults, you have to re-run the BTV hardware wizard to get the ini file setup correctly again.

When you install BTV, it automatically modifies the irremote.ini file in your Windows root directory by adding the necessary instructions for the remote to control BTV.

I am guessing when you updated the Hauppauge drivers that it replaced the original irremote.ini file with a newer one, and in the process it lost the BTV control instructions.

Your options to fix this problem include either running the BTV setup wizard to reconfigure the irremote.ini file automatically, or just copy the BTV control instructions from someone else into your irremote.ini file. Just search for irremote.ini and you'll find the stuff your looking for.

Running the setup wizard for Beyond TV fixed the problem. Thank you for the help.
