Feature Request List?

There seems to be hundreds of feature requests, from the innane to the insane. But before I post one that is neither, I'm wondering if there is a page or topic which is dedicated to feature requests?

Possibly saying what is being worked on so someone doesn't request something that is being worked on or definately not going to included?

I love the product and I'm curious if how the feature request process works?

Its simple: People post them to several boards, they print out all the request, throw them in a hat, and randomly draw, you will be made aware if your feature request is being used 6 to 8 weeks later when the final product is available and you see it there .

Nah, people post feature request almost everywhere, most find their way to the beta website and are listed there. But even then, you have no real way of knowing where the request stands on priority, the fact is as you said it already, their are hundreds of them! You actually only find a handful on these boards. Most of them are on the beta website.

So go ahead, whats your feature request?

Well, since you are antagonizing me...

1) I would like to be able to schedule a WATCHING of a show, not necessarily a record. E.g. It's 10 mins to the hour, and the show I want to watch next is on a different channel. Instead of setting it to record, just schedule to "watch" it.

2) A third "Record Episode" option which will record all episodes that aren't recorded yet, not just ALL Episodes (which dupes might occur) or just FirstRuns which doesn't catch repeats.

3) Option to change the filename in the "Edit" box of the WebAdmin for shows (or option to copy program details). I like to download the shows, clip them for commercials, and upload them back with a proper rename. Since it's the same show, I'd like the details to be just copied over. There's no need to contact the server as it's just under a different filename.

4) My roommate is an ass (no, that's not the request part) but he'll leave the LiveTV on, and when a show I want to record comes on, it just sits there waiting for the answer to "Record Show? [Yes/No]". I'd like a "Always Switch Channel"/"Ask to switch channel" option. Of course, using the padding options like x mins ahead of time.

Just one quick comment (I have to get going) but the second option already works the way you want it to. It will not records episodes on the machine if they are already sitting on the machine.
