The files are not from btv3 (I just bought a tv tuner and don't yet have it hooked up so I don't have btv3 YET) This file is just something I downloaded a while ago. In "my computer" It appears as mpeg file with the windows media player icon and opens with windows media player, but that file doesn't appear in the mvp list?? Is there another site for mvp? I went to the shs link, but didn't see a forum there.
Thanks

using wired 100Mbps lan (netopia router) I disabled norton firewall and antivirus to test it, made no difference when getting the jpeg or mp3 files so that does appear to be an issue.

I just did the same thing you did. Works very nice to playback the mpegs. Your problem could be the format and/or extension used for your mpegs. I believe mine are simply *.mpg
I'm new at this MediaMVP thing myself and have other issues (another thread someday)
I have mpegs generated by the PVR-350 and they are either 720x480, or 352x480 DVD proper types. Although I doubt you NEED to have a dvd proper program stream, you may have to have an mpeg that is similar as far as frame size. (although I doubt it) If your Mpegs have a different file extension, try renaming one to .mpg and see if it's found.
