Manual fix of programming conflicts.

I was attempting to record a program from 8:00PM to 9:00PM on one channel and then another from 9:00PM to 10:00PM on another channel BUT the guide had the second program starting at 8:59PM - This caused a conflict and the second program did not record. I assumed that the second program would have started when the first was finished but it did not because of the conflict.

First off, don't know why the guide would have the second program starting a minute earlier than what is normal and second, is there a way to resolve this to get both programs to record back to back.

Sorry your only option at this time is to set up a manual recording. There have been a few threads about this, but the networks are getting a little sneaky. It's only supposition, but many believe they are setting start and stop times off the hour or half hour so that it causes the TIVO and equivalent systems problems. I think BTV will have some options in upcoming releases, but for now you just have go to manual override.
