Do all PVR 250's have heatsinks?

I just received a PVR 250 last week from Amazon and I noticed that the decoder chip does not have a heat sink on it, but the picture on the package does. I did a search on the web and every place that had pictures had heatsinks on them. Did I get a revised newer one? Or is there a mistake? I havent had any real problems, just want to make sure I didn't get one with missing parts.

these are the standard retail versions that have been made for a while now, they have a newer chipset on them (iTVC16), the ones with the heatsinks have the same chip as the 350s from what i understand (iTVC15)
this is what the card should look like in the newer version:

here is the older model:

you can gather more info on the pvr's from SHS's website: www.shspvr.com

Yeah, that is what I have. Thanks for the response.

Are there any major differences in quality with these two boards? I guess I am just curious just in case I pick up another in the future and I want to make sure picture quality would be just as good.

dunno, only have experience with the heatsinkless ones, shs might be able to shed some light but im sure if there is any quality difference it is very minimal at best.
