Can SNapstream do this?

Would i able to schedule recordings from the svideo or rca input instead of the built in tuner?. So for instance on sunday at 5:00 Pm i would record channel 15 from the tuner, then at 6:00PM i would record from the svideo input?

If you schedule the jobs with the default setting, you can then go into the webadmin > go under record > choose the job you need to change > right click and edit the job > click advanced and choose your other video source.

This brings up a point that I was going to bring up a while ago, until they support scheduling a job by video source, would people find value in a feature request to add this to the list of editable properties under the FSUI. I did just double check and it isn't there, it is the only one other than security that is not there:

Quality
Target Folder
ShowSqueese
Fixed Content
Max Number of Shows

I think you should wait until 3.5 comes out, I think this may be taken care of. Since they are adding dual tuner support, it would seem to me that scheduling by tuner is gonna be in there. I hope so anyway.

BTW BTV can do that. I do it all the time. Just as Keith explained you must set up the recording then go back and edit it to use the non-default tuning device. Also you can only change the tuning device from the web admin page, you can't do it in the FSUI.

just curious, but changing the defualt tuner that way would that allow you to say schedule a regular recording on your pvr250 and then schedule another recording on say an ati aiw? Or would BTV still report a conflict? mmm maybe not btv wouldn't recognize the aiw and the 250 would it... wish i had one to try it out.

I assume you mean schedule a recording on the PVR and AIW at the same time. When they get dual tuner support yes, but not yet. It's supposed to be in 3.5.
