White dot

In the Video Library screen, a red dot to the left of a program title seems to indicate that it's currently being recorded. What does a white dot mean? How about no dot?

the white thing to the left is actually a picture of a padlock. If you set the program to "keep until I delete it" it will show the padlock out to the left. And yes the red dot is to indicate "currently recording"

That's wierd. I've never set anything to "keep until I delete" it. Maybe it "locks" it on it's own when it's recompressing. And that's one tiny padlock, if it is indeed a padlock, on my TV it looks like a little white dot

it will mark video as keep until if you disabled the video folder's expiration settings. or on video that was in the folder when you upgrade (so that the folder isnt purged after an upgrade, it happened once and wont happen again too many people got pissed)

That's it. I had to reinstall 3.3 because I upgraded to the public beta release called 3.4, then had to roll back when it didn't work.
