Green and Purple blotches on my tv!!

I've noticed that with my current setup, if my PC and my tv have been on for a while together I start to get green and purple blotches on my TV. At one point it was really bad when I had installed a new power supply, so I assumed it was the power supply, changed the power supply, and no change. Tried to move the PC away from the tv, a bit better, but not the best.

Does anyone know if this is the power supply or could it be something else causing the interference?

I've included some pictures of my HTPC setup.

My setup:

HTPC:
- Asus A7N8X
- AMD Athalon XP 1800+
- ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 7500
- Kingston DDR 512mb 333mHz x1
- Adaptec 2940 UW PCI SCSI Adapter
- Two Ultra wide scsi drives (9gb, 18gb)
- Standard 300w power supply
- Thermaltake volcano 11+ CPU cooler

Home Theater Setup:
- Samsung TV
- Harman Kardon AVR120
- Starchoice Navigo 405
- Sony DVD Player
- Energy 5.1 speaker setup

Looks like magnetic interference from the speaker on top of the TV. Try moving that away and see if the purple disappears

Not the speaker...

It's not the speaker.. I've had that there for over a year and the HTPC has only been installed for a few months, and it's only since the PC has been installed...

Humor us and try moving the speaker anyway.

It could be that the magnetic interference from the computer with the speaker together are just a little to much. It should be easy to move the speaker a few feet away as a test so give it a try.

Move the speaker and go through the TV setup menu to see if there is a degauss function. If there is try it out. If not check the manual as some sets automatically degauss when turning on. The degaussing will generally clear patterns left by magnetic fields.

my tv does that if I leave the menu up or any thing that doesnt "move" and I have no speakers anywhere near it. but if I open up livetv/video playback or switch to its internal tuner the blothces go away (turning off then back on does it to) i think it just has to do with the static image and the signal going from the computer to the tv. cause i can bring my dvd player's welcome screen up and leave it there and it doesnt cause any blotching.

Talking

I get it too... but instead of posting about it I was going to use it as an excuse to buy a new LCD 32" tv

My computer is in one room and then I run the video out through a coax cable. It's a good 50' run through the wall to the tv but seems to work fine. I don't always get the blotch. I seem to notice it when I have been using beyond TV for a few hours. On mine though, the blotch stays even when doing playback or live TV.

I figure doing a DVI\cat5\DVI run will solve this problem on the new TV... Once purchased.
