Transparent Tv Guide

I have a ATI Remote Wonder VE and I am trying to figure out how to get the tv listings to display over top of the currecnt show. I have looked on the remote control button guide built into snapstream and also in the forums but I cant seem to find which button will allow for the transparent tv listings. Could someone lend a hand?

Type "e" in the Full Screen user interface to toggle the transparent EPG.

White background

Hi,

My background and main page guide has a white background.
I tried toglling "e" key.. I guess this is not transparent mode.

Can you help.. Is there a config option for background colors.

Since I purchased this Product my quality is terrible.
Video is jerky sound is not in sync with Video.

I have the following system.

Athalon 1.8GHz
512MB memory
60GB HD
ATI ALL IN N WONDER AGP

Is there a cook book for quality and settup that someone has posted that is simalar to my hardware.

keep in mind, Showshifter qulity is great. So I don't anticipate it being my hardware. however, I do like the user interface around
Snapstream Beyond TV.

Any help would be greatly appriecate..

Bob

Bob,

What version are you running?

Might also want to tweak the video settings; turning de-interlace off and anything to "hardware" that you can change.

Make sure you defrag your hard drive, I hear this makes a big difference too.

re;quality issues

Running latest version Beyond TV. Just downloaded it, however,
I had these same problems with version 3.

I need to what settings are to change to get the quality issues taken care of. Also, Anyone know how to fix the issues with the background not being Blue like it was at one time.

I even did a complete removal and a frsh install.

I need help..

you need to make sure that:
- you have directx 9.0b installed
- you are running media player 9
- you have ati video drivers 3.6 or later installed
- you are running the btv interface on the primary monitor
- you have hardware accelration for the video card enabled (display properties->settings->advanced->troubleshooting)

there are solutions in the kb for sound sync errors:
http://kb.snapstream.com

the normal solution to studdering / low fps is to install a 3rd party decoder:
http://www.snapstream.com/Community/Articles/decoders

If it is the "original" ati aiw agp then the card might just be too old for doing the video and the capture at the same time.
