Dss.dll question about adding a command

Just installed the latest build (899). Seems to be working great thus far.

I was wondering if there is anyway to add a command to the dss.dll file. More specifically, I would like to have the exit command sent to the DirectTV set-top box immediately following the channel change input. I am hoping to get rid of the STB's info screen every time a channel changes.... Already, have the info thanks to BTV. How difficult would it be to modify this dll to do this. And more importantly, can there be a work around that doesn't involve even messing with it.

Just one of the many random things floating around in my head.

I was wondering how the DirecTV receiver program guide worked with the BTV program guide.... I just got my system working, except I haven't physically connected the reciever to the PC yet via direct connection. I was hoping that with commands sent via direct connection, the reciever wouldn't display its own program guide information.

So what do you get? I screen with the show and DirecTV guide info, with the BTV guide info on top of that? Yuck!

Sending an exit command right after a channel change would definately help a bit...
